I’m sure many of you have either visited or seen a LeeAnn Chin restaurant before while traveling in the Twin Cities area. The fast casual restaurant serves all sorts of different asian cuisine and even offers a frozen yogurt bar complete with all the toppings one could ever wish for. Confused on what I mean by fast casual? Think of Chipotle crossed with Panda Express. It’s food that is made well but available immediately to a customer through a que line. Think of a classier food court store. Well, the 30 year old Minnesota company has finally solidified it’s plans in expanding northward and Duluth is first on the list! Yesterday LeeAnn Chin began their hiring process for their new Duluth location. Where will it be going? I’m still trying to track that down. It’s said to be going in the 55811 zip code which is the entire mall area. Many rumors are going around saying that they will be locating in the former Conoco gas station on the corner of St.Marie and Woodland. This could very well be an option, however, that would be outside of the zip code provided on the website and the space would be very small for a LeeAnn Chin restaurant. But as of right now, anywhere is an option! And yes, for all you people who love LeeAnn Chin’s yogurt concept called “RedCherry,” the Duluth location will indeed sooth your yogurt needs. The new Duluth location is expected to open this summer which means we can rule out it being new construction! The search is one to find the official location! I’ll be sure to post it here!
